One way to hedge against the effects rising gas prices have on your wallet is to buy oil/gas futures, or even stock in the major oil companies.

I would love to do that, but I don't think it's too practical right now. A new tranny and some body work are on the list before the engine because I just put a new carb on it about 2 years ago and have done some other work to it. When I do get back around to it, I'll probably stick with the smaller 350 or 396.
