Harvey is recovering from a hamstring injury and will probably head back to the Florida State League when recovered. Prior isn’t ready to pitch–but isn’t really injured, either, according to the Cubs–so he begins on the DL. Marshall has some residual shoulder soreness from last season.

 

 

Most of this has already been posted on this site. BA has tended to be inaccurate, but they have revamped this section, so maybe it will improve.

 

I am a little surprised with Ciarmella. With his stats from last year I do not fault the Cubs, but I had higher hopes for him.

The Cubs released righthander Lincoln Holdzkom after getting him back from the Astros, and he subsequently signed with the Red Sox.

Yes; I think that's part of Quaker's reference to most of this having already been reported here. I think this is a list of moves over a period of time, not new moves just now made. It has also been awhile since Holdzkom was released.
