39 degrees in Houston this afternoon - yikes! We're only getting up to 70 today though.

Mid 30's today in Iowa. We're not expecting 40+ temps until next weekend. Can't wait for warmer weather!!!!

Even I'm going to have to bundle up tonight when I go out. It's probably only in the 50's tonight. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I forgot that there were several other west coasters in this league.

I remember when I lived in Chicago as a kid. Man it was hard to see all those people on TV enjoying the spring weather when it was still winter where I was.

I get a similar sensation now-a-days when I fly to distant cities and realize that some pewople don't have continuous rain for 6 months out of the year.

What's that?

I suppose you are also unfamiliar with the word "Green" as in "Green Vegetation" :)

I lived in So Cal for awhile (Fontana), but it was weird. Rivers that never had any water in them. A spring that lasted two days if you were lucky. No fall colors.... The San Bernardino mountains were really beautiful on the one, or two days out of the year that you could actually see them.

Fontucky and the Inland Empire is awful most of the year. It's much better the closer you get to the coast or the higher you go in the mountains.

Or south to San Diego. :D

I'm planning on going out to SD this summer. My uncle runs some restraunts in Cali and lives in SD. He wants my family to come out there and spend a week..........maybe go over to Las Vegas and lose alittle money while we're out there.
