Dontrelle Willis-S-Marlins Jan. 15 - 6:24 pm et

According to ESPN.com, the Marlins and Dontrelle Willis have agreed to terms on a one-year, $6.45 million contract.

Willis settled for slightly less guaranteed money that Carlos Zambrano got last year ($6.5 million) as a second-time arbitration eligible, but he can earn more through bonuses. They weren't exactly comparable cases anyway, as Willis was a super-two player a year ago. He won't be eligible for eligible for free agency until after 2009.
