Bobby Murcer has brain tumor

Former Cub outfielder Bobby Murcer will undergo surgery for a brain tumor. Murcer was once expected to become the next Mickey Mantle when he came up with the Yankees. He was traded to the Giants for Bobby Bonds, then later traded to the Cubs (along with Steve Ontiveros) for Bill Madlock. The article I saw didn't say if the tumor is malignant or not.
