I think that bipolar bears fans are far more incosistent than Grossman.

Except those of us that haven't been blind to the problems this team has been having for about two months now. Yes, they're a good team, yes they have an awesome record...none of that magically makes any of their very real and continuing to get worse problems go away.

What is wrong with the Bears? It's clear to say Rex has got potential to be a star... we've seen him do that. Does he get nervous? I would still consider him a rookie. The same thing happened with Mark Prior in 2003 NLCS. I have no doubt that he will be great.

So going into the playoffs, the Bears luckily have 2 weeks to make new plays, practice, watch tape of their own games and the other teams, hopefully notice enough weaknesses to beat them, and notice mistakes they need to fix themselves.

Helping Rex mentally would really help IMO. Tharapy, massage etc. ?

I still dont see Griese starting though, and I dont want him to.

I agree with your post, but I have to take issue with one thing.

Prior was excellent in the 2003 playoffs. It's not his fault that that disastrous turn of events in that inning happened, that he was overused that whole season, or that he wasn't pulled when he should've been. That's all on Dusty (well, the overuse and not having been pulled). Some blame goes to AGon too.

Agree. Griese was just as bad, if not worse than Rex. He could have easily had 4 INTs. He definitely made it clear that Rex is the starter.

The bears need to worry about the health of their secondary more than anything rightn ow.
