From rotoworld:

Orioles signed catcher Paul Bako, who had been with the Royals, to a one-year, $900,000 contract.

He can earn $150,000 in performance bonuses. With Ramon Hernandez likely to remain very busy, the Orioles didn't need to spend the money to attract a quality backup. Bako is about as weak of an option as there was out there, but as long as he's limited to 125-150 at-bats, it's not going to matter very much.

With boom boom Bynum and Bako how can the Orioles not win the World Series?

You're kidding me! This is old news? I could've sworn I had heard it before, but it was just posted on rotoworld, so I figured I was just going crazy.
