Jose Guillen-OF-Nationals Dec. 2 - 5:53 pm et

The Mariners and outfielder Jose Guillen have agreed to terms on a one-year, $5 million contract, sources told ESPNdeportes.com.

There's $3 million in incentives and a $9 million option for 2008. Guillen is a risk while coming back from Tommy John surgery, but this is still a pretty good signing for the Mariners. It's certainly better than bringing in Luis Gonzalez.

I was going to throw his name out there the other day, but I couldn't think of a decent argument either way. his splits flip back and forth, his IsoD fluctuates. you just don't know what you are going to get from this guy.
