What is gross to think about is that he signed the 8 year deal at age 24. This means he will have just completed a season still in his prime at 32. It's a real possibility that the Cardinals won't be able to afford what he will be offered. Hopefully they'll offer a somewhat competitive package and he'll stay.

 

You know he signed that deal at 28 and will be 36 when it's done.

 

I'm pretty sure he was 36 when he signed it, 44 when it's done.
