Tough for Juan to pull it out when he only gets 5 starts on the week and 4 of his starters combine to score 0.45 points.

my usual strength -- my infield -- hasn't even really done anything this week. but my two iffiest SP's have gone 4-0 with 3 QS and 83 points. i have some tough decisions to make lineup-wise this week. we can change lineups after one week just like it's a new matchup, correct?

BTW - an unexpected start from Hudson has Juan closing in. If Pujols and Bonds get rained out, I might not be able to hold him off.

I don't feel right scoring 235 and winning. But I guess I'll take it.

i'm not too psyched despite scoring 325 since i don't think i can count on my pitching to go 6-1 with five QS and seven saves again. i mean, as much as i like hill, i'm not penciling him in for another shutout this week...

You've clearly been a stronger team through the second half. If Gomes and Ensberg hadn't become shells of themselves, it would have been a lot closer. And Liriano going down hurt a lot, too.

 

That...and Dunn & Wright have sucked in Aug & Sept.
