During the rain delay coverage they just showed Speier working with Ronny and Theriot on 2B fielding. Is anyone else surprised he's back so soon?

He's been back since at least Sunday I believe. Baker made a comment about Speier doing baserunning stuff with players after Saturday's hilarity.

It's not so bad they let him back early, I mean EA Sports just put JJ Redick on the front of the new NCAA hoops video game. What a role model for kids! Drink your way to stardom! I know that's a little over the line, but I really hate Redick.

I think he's been back since last Thurs. I was at the game and remember seeing him at 3B, but yeah I am surprised to see him back so soon but I wouldn't bet against that happening again.
