This might be more appropriate in Rants, but oh well.

 

I just can't give anything else to this team anymore. I couldn't leave the game on while Hendry was talking-he just makes me sick. I can't stand what he's done to this team, I can't stand his philosophy, I can't stand the fact that he thinks he's doing a good job, I can't stand that he's going to give Baker an extension, I can't stand the fact that this team is going to be no better next year than they are this year, and I can't stand the fact that I'm a fan of this load of garbage that keeps coming out day after day.

 

This organization is utterly pathetic and I see absolutely no light at the end of the tunnel.

I can't figure out why the hell Glendon Rusch is still employed. Listening to Hendry and that garbage about whether Glendon is going to do this or keeping Glendon fresh for that made me want to vomit. I held on hoping to hear something to the effect of being shocked that the media hadn't reported that he picked up Kemp or LaRoche as well.

 

I'm with you. I've held on for too many years with that stupid blind faith that next year will be our year. Looking at stupid offseason moves hoping subsequent deals will somehow make it all make sense, but it never does. I think baseball is the greatest sport in the world, but days like today make me wonder why I even bother.
