Who to start?

I can only start 2 of these 4. Which 2 would you start?

Jose Lopez (SEA)-@OAK (3), SF (3)

Ty Wiggington (TB)-@DET (4), @PHI (3)

Michael Cuddyer (MIN)-BOS (3), @PIT (3)

Moises Alou (SF)-@ARI (3), SEA (3)

The Hitting Stats for my league are:

R, H, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, TB, OPS

It's weekly changes so I have to just pick 2 of them to start for the whole week.

I would say Cuddyer and Mo, but thats without looking at the matchups. I am a Wigginton disbeliever and with Cantu and Rocco back thats going to at least partially cut into his time as hes cooled off a bit. The Boston rotation is all jacked up right now, but I think Cuddyer is going to miss the rookies and Mo is going to face King Felix, but I still think they are better plays.

Jose Lopez is the American League's best kept secret. Better player than Cuddyer. When in doubt, always go with the better player.

He's still a 2B. His offense is great for 2B, but his OPS is under .800. I don't know if the stats being counted are weighted equally or what, but it's going to be hard to make up that 100 points in OPS. Cuddyer's .900+ OPS for the year (and his 1.000+ OPS against lefties, of which he'll face at least 2 this week) is the difference to me.

I certainly think it's a close call, but I'd still go with Cuddyer (and Alou).

I'll be darned, I thought Ty Wigginton disappeared.

I'll vote Cuddyer and Alou as well.

I went with Lopez over Cuddyer, because Lopez's big advantage in scoring runs and driving runs in (although that may change now that Cuddyer has been moved to 4th in the order).

You mean Wiggington disappearing since the beginning of the year or since years past? His overall numbers are impressive because of a hot streak he had in April, but even over the past month he's been pretty good (.825 OPS, 4 HR, 14 RBI). He's not too bad for a 2b so I can't just drop him in a 16 team league. I want to find someone with a weak 2b and try to trade him along with one of my starters for a better starter, or something along those lines.

Lopez is a MASSIVE sell high candidate. His RBI numbers are crazy inflated due to his unbelievable (read unsubstainable) numbers with runners on. Additionally, his runs scored seem very inflated given his OBP as well. Sell Sell Sell!!!!
