Funny thing is, he apparently is related to the actor Ray Liotta.

Billek's 1st start with Daytona has been rough. Through 4 innings, he has given up 6 hits, 5 runs, 1 BB, and 1 HR. He has 2 K's. Daytona is trailing 5-0 after 4.

Daytona lost 7-2. Billek gave up 5 runs in 4 2/3 IP and Blevins gave up 2 more runs in 2 1/3 IP. The only thing that saved Daytona from a shutout was Jake Fox's 13th homer of the year, a 2 run shot, to give Daytona their only tallies of the game. Another bit of good news was Ryan Harvey. He went 3/4 and pushed his average over the Mendoza line to .206.

Peoria won 5-2. Blackford pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball, allowing no runs, and had 4 K's. However, he did have 5 BB's. Scott Koerber picked up his 1st save of the season as he pitched a 1-2-3 9th. Jesus Valdez was 3/5 and Jake Muyco was 3/3.

 

West Tenn was down 4-1 at one point, but they have tied it at 4 in the 8th.
