Have any of you guys experienced the standing room only sections at the new Busch?

I have SRO tickets for June 3. If the view isn't too bad, I'm gonna keep them and try to take advantage of not having a seat and walk around as much of the park as possible.

I've done standing room once at new Busch. The key is to get there early and hold your place. You can stand right behind home plate if you play your cards right (no pun intended). Great view! The ushers are very vehement about not "crossing the yellow line" and will berate you if you do. You definitely get the feeling of being a second class citizen, but it's what you make of it.

I had bleacher seats and ended up standing in SRO for most of the game due to better view and less cramped space.

There's some great spots to stand, and the SRO spots are in awesome vantage points of the field.

found some sec 371 tickets for 31 bucks each. I think that's a good deal, considering I paid 50 bucks a pop for bleacher seats.

Anyone have experience with "etickets?" The ebay seller had a 100% rating and has sold etickets before. I feel like it was a risk worth taking.

While you should never buy a printed ticket on the street, buying one through eBay isn't such a bad idea, especially if the seller takes PayPal. Pay with a credit card, and you'll be fine.

I have SRO tickets for Sundays game of that series. Can anyone recommend a good pro-cub bar down there for before/after the game?

Personally, I'd never do it just because the seller can sell however many copies of the tickets as he or she wants to. If I ever did buy them though, I'd make sure that I got to the ballpark very early.

You're not going to find a pro Cubs bar there. I always go to Paddio's though for my pre and sometimes post game drinking. In my experiences, the Cubs fans usually all get together in the lower level of the bar.
