Has John Mabry managed to catch up to a fastball over 90mph yet this year? Why would any opposing pitcher throw anything offspeed near the zone?

Why would any opposing pitcher throw ANYTHING near the zone? Mabry is swinging at anything he sees lately - throw him the heat at his eyeballs and he's going to try to overhead chop that ball down.
