The worst part of the Lee injury

Coming into this season, I saw two directions this team could go and they were both positive.

 

• 
  1) Cubs have a surprising season and challenge for the playoffs. Dusty gets an extension because of the good season and I could live with that if the team is winning.
   
  2) Cubs have another down year and Dusty is not re-signed.
  

Now with Lee's injury, there is a very good possibility that the Cubs will have a down year and Dusty will be re-signed because of the belief that he can't be blamed for injuries. I'm afraid we're stuck with at least another 2-3 years of bad managing :cry:

I'm not sure Dusty would want to come back to the Cubs and if he did it must just be for the money, because every year half the stars are injured for most of the season.
