Most have had rough starts, Zambrano, Santana, Colon, Garcia.

Peavy and Willis were sharp.

Should be interesting to follow.

Garcia just looked ridiculous. I mean I know Carlos wasnt finding the strike zone. They said though that Garcia was throwing about 10 mph slower than last year. He usually hit mid 90's. Odd as for the others I agree they did look shakey. Dontrelle on the other hand looked great and got dicked over by there terrible fielding.

All pitching has been bad across the league. What does the WBC have to do with it?

 

Maybe they're all injured.

 

Or the change in schedule as far as how they got ready for the season messed them up.

I'd be willing to entertain that idea if it weren't for the fact that 18 teams have a team ERA of 5.00 or higher right now. I'm pretty sure the overwhelming majority of those guys weren't in the WBC.
