Rudy Seanez - R - Red Sox

Red Sox agreed to terms with RHP Rudy Seanez, who had been with the Padres, on a one-year contract with a club option for the 2007 season.

It's believed that he will be guaranteed about $2 million. The Red Sox bullpen now includes Keith Foulke, Mike Timlin, Seanez, Guillermo Mota and Chad Bradford. Either Jonathan Papelbon or Bronson Arroyo could be there, depending on what happens in the rotation. If they carry a lefty, Lenny DiNardo would be the top choice, although he's not exactly a specialist. Dec. 20 - 3:40 pm
