Why would the Jays make that deal? Nobody will touch Soriano right now. He's 34 and is scared to steal bases or run close to walls. I expect a lot more from a 18-19mil dollar a year player. -

I thought he would produce but the reality is he never did and he couldn't keep his mouth shut. I can understand him having a couple blowups a season but he was worse than that. Screw Bradley. Has he ever put blame on himself? All these incidents and he always believed he was the victim. I can't stand people like that, and I'm glad he's gone.

Agreed. Zambrano hasn't been an ace in years. He's average to above average.

I think this is a good move. I have a feeling Martz said all the right things and told them he would incorporate roll-outs and use the running game more than year's past so he got the job. Good OC's can make adjustments and work with what they have, I think Martz can do that, Turner could not until it was too late.

Dye should have taken the money because I dont think a team is willing to give him more than that. That being said I'd rather have Nady so it worked out.

Clements can't just leave and sign with us. It doesn't work that way. Who even knows if he wants the responsibility of being a OC, especially for the Bears? I didn't expect the Packers to grant permission to the Bears anyway, just not happening.

I'm OK with Fewell as DC. I like all of you have no clue as to who would be the right hire for the Bears. My top two candidates were Weis and Bates and now they are both gone. I seriously doubt the Packers will allow us to interview their QB coach so that leaves some very unappealing options available to us.

Agreed. I def want to see what Niemi can do full time. His numbers so far have been really impressive. I believe Q knows this and is keeping Niemi fresh by playing Huet a lot until later in the season LOL
