  1. I'm personally not expecting much from Miller even if he does come back. I'm more worried about getting Prior and Wood back to be honest. They are the guys we will need.
  2. I think we all have been waiting to see Guzman start for a loooong time now. I'm just hoping he doesn't get injured during warmups and somebody has to take his place
  3. I wish we had more players like Murton. I love his approach at the plate.
  4. Lidge has looked human all season, he's just been able to wiggle his way out. His lack of control and loss of velocity on his pitches are now catching up to him. How much velocity has he lost?
  5. Nothing at all. He was a lights out pitcher last year before he got hurt. he has always had the stuff to be dominant.
  6. You beat me to it. Now, let's hope they beat the 'stros. Agreed. Houston has been too good as of late.
  7. Drew breaks up the no hitter with a homer.
  8. Bases loaded nobody out..Come on ARam.
  9. yep, unless they use him in long relief tomorrow they only brought him up for long relief and if he isn't used tomorrow he will start Wed. I dont even understand why they would bring him for just long relief if that really is the plan. That being said he had a perfect opportunity to pitch in yesyerday's win if that was the case so I guess we'll see. its strategery. Since the Bullpen has been overworked if they needed him for long relief they would have put him in and brought up Hill to start Wed. if not the plan was for him to start on Wed, which I believe would be his regular rest between starts. I would rather see Guz or Hill over WIlliams and Rusch that's for sure.

  11. So who thinks Guzman is set up to pitch on Wed? We still haven't seen him yet.
  12. And on to better news, the Bulls are getting pummeled.
  13. HE GAVE UP A HOMERUN TO MIGUEL CABRERA, NOT EXACTLY A ROOKIE. SO THE HELL WHAT!!! HE STILL GAVE UP 3 RUNS!! Your whole point was how he gave it up to a rookie team, sweetpete called you out, so you stepped back. They may be mostly Rookies, but don't act like they're a bunch of Neifi Perez and Freddie Bynum wannabes. The other run, a double by Willingham, who is pretty damn good, that scored Cabrera. So we are being beat by two really good players and a lefty that the offense made look good. I guess Z is to blame for that too. One guy on the entire team isn't a rookie. Yes, Cabrera is a top hitter but Z has to step up his game. I'm a big Z fan but we need our pitching and offense to step up so 3 ER against this team IMO isnt that great especially considering how good Z has been against Cabrera.
  14. Let's hope the DP doesnt come from Neifi.

  16. Z has the stuff but he did give up 3 runs to a rookie team. It doesn't help when our offense doesn't show up though.
