That is a great way to define the luck that is the Chicago White Sox. Buerlie has two first and second with no outs and gets out of both jams. Not to mention his error helped six of the seven runs go unearned, so even his stat line looks good. It's not luck. -

Here's hoping I wake up in the morning, check the transactions forum and see a Dusty Baker has been canned thread. Then again, I was hoping for the same thing last year and it didn't happen. The simple fact that Hendry has been re-signed doesn't bode well for us Cubs fans. Rock bottom folks, this is it. This is what Hendry gets out of his 100mil payroll.

Blow this team up already. I'm serious. I'm not opposed to it anymore as long as that means Hendry, Baker-boy and his coaching staff go with it. This is absolutely ridiculous and I don't expect Jim the pie-eating champion to do anything about it. Hendry lacks the cajones to fire Baker..bank on it!

Fire Baker. 8) I wish it was that easy. They are already talking extension! Man, only the Cubs are this futile. I'm so glad the boo birds are out today. Think on the bright side. Hendry is looking for a winning streak so he can extend Baker. But there's not going to be one, so he can't. Hopefully MacPhail will finally realize what a mistake it was to extend Hendry, and buy him out. Throw both of these guys out, they've both done a poor job. Eating salary for the Tribune is like eating salad for you & I. Sure, you'd rather have steak but the veggies aren't all that bad and they might improve your health later on :wink: Boy, I hope that happens. I don't know how much more of this roster, Hendry, Baker and his staff I can take.

Pierre sucks. So much for him being that leadoff hitter we needed. I think Neifi and Corey did better than him last year when they were leading off.

Who in the heck is Hensley? Shows you how pathetic this team is when it can't score on the scrub pitchers. Boy, good thing Hendry is giving Baker that extension it is much deserved. :roll:
