    I don't see the need for a hybrid 3-4 if Brown comes aboard. Larry English's peripherals don't look so hot for a position where you're going to need a quick burst off the edge to rush the passer. Add in the fact that the Pack still have plenty of FA money to spend on a 3-4 guy (Jason Taylor?), that OT is clearly their biggest need at this point. With that in mind, the Packers will select, William Beatty from UConn. Sorry about Britton :oops:

    When he's on, it doesn't matter how tough your defense is. Is it a good thing that he seems to be the only one shooting? Yeah, he's making shots, but ultimately, somebody else is going to have to come through for them to win. Otherwise, he's going to start taking bad shots.

    I think all this nonsense about how long a live draft could take is very overblown. Who really takes all two minutes to draft a player? If you're at all prepared, and observant, you shouldn't need any longer than 45 seconds. Which for 16 players should be 12 minutes per round. For a day, it might take 5-6 hours. Big deal. We don't need to be time crunching like crazy to get a couple picks in. I'm not sure why everyone is freaking out about how long a draft could take.

    A few questions about the draft... There has to be some parameter for how long we're allowed for picks. There doesn't seem to be a set amount of time that can surpass. In addition, there are times that I will not be able to make it online. I'm not like a lot of you where I have the ability to check things at work.

    I will be at every Cubs/Cards game this year (In St. Louis) without spending a penny. Why would I make the decision to take a day off, try and buy cubs tickets, and then have to take more days off to drive up to Chicago? Blasphemous. I should still be able to see the Cubs 10-15 times this season even if I don't make it to Wrigley.

    This is a tough pick since I think Raji would be a perfect fit in GB, as would any of the falling OT's to potentially replace Mark Tauscher, and if all of those guys were off the board, I would prefer the Pack trade down instead of reaching for a player, but since that is not an option... The Packers select OLB Everette Brown from Florida State.

    I'm not deploying guys! We have an exercise coming up here within the next few weeks where we are sending a majority of our unit through a deployment line (mock basically) while dealing with a faux disaster. We are training for the Command Center portion of it. I very much appreciate the gesture!
