All, its been great playing in this league the last few years, but I must depart. We have gone into a MUCH higher Ops Tempo and hours are extremely long at work and family life is starting to take a lot more of my time that I used to have free. Last year this time I was single working 730 to 430. Now I'm working mostly 7-6 with very physically draining days and a fiancee at home as well. I know some of you are able to juggle multiple commitments and I commend you. In time, i will likely be able to do it as well. But for now, I don't have the time to dedicate to this league that it requires. Have a lot of love for this league, very competitive! Mark
I will be on vacation until the 28th and very little to no Internet access. So if I don't respond, I apologize. Clint, did that deal you inquired about have the necessary components needed to go through? It was a very intriguing deal. Mark live from las Vegas!!!
Well, you could just bitch bout it without reason, or you could respond to one of the two messages I have sent out asking for your info to get you your winnings. My apologies. I didn't see that payment message in the middle of the post. I'll PM you my info.
I know that there's a small prize to be had by the top couple of slots from last year, and as one of those players, I have seen NOTHING on this front. I think it kind of stinks for the commissioner to be setting deadlines on league issues (admittedly something that needs to be done), but has not taken care of the other end of the bargain as of yet. When can we expect something on this?
Is Slaton starting this week? At least you know that Grant is the number one guy. Pick one RB, and one flex for this weekend: McCoy Sims-Walker Steve Smith Slaton Jamaal Charles
This is clearly completely true. Ochocinco makes me want to buy his book. Bayless is a douche as well, but he plays it very well. I was waiting for Ocho to ask Skip why he's stuck doing a daily show on ESPN2... during the day.
being sick has given me the opportunitty to appreciate ocho cinco in all his glory as he battles wits with skip bayless. this is truly amazing television.
i ended up with a ton of rb's too. steven jackson, gore, reggie bush, mendenhall, parker, choice, and maroney. im gonna package some and try to upgrade somewhere else. Your running backs have been pretty lousy this year.
I do like Penn Station a lot. Does anybody know of any good non chain sub places in the St. Louis area? For the most part, I have eaten at pretty much all chains since I've been here which is very disheartening. (The Hill not withstanding)
Just got back from the game. [expletive] this offense. They deserved to lose with ZERO [expletive] HITS AGAINST TERRIBLE PITCHERS IN THE PEN. I don't think at any point did I feel they could pull a run out either. It was just a matter of waiting for the Phillies to score. We were just happy we got out before the Green Day concert ended. [expletive] Cubs.
Amazing game tonight! I have loved visiting the Nationals' new park. So much fun stuff to do along with great views of the field all the way around. Need Hart to give us five good innings and try and give our battered pen a bit of a rest and bring the brooms to Philly!
I say yes. He wants to be the biggest superstar on the planet. Just imagine what it could do for his legacy if he was able to turn around that decrepit franchise. Its all about ego.
Really random question, but I am going to DC to see the Cubs play in July. On the Nats' site, it lists the option to enter codes in for discounted tickets, but thus far, my search has yielded nothing. If anybody has any Insight I would greatly appreciate it!
