    If he could put up a .298/.382 line I don't care where you play him...just play him. He can't. Not in a significant amount of AB's, at least. Of course, it would be a typical Hendry pickup. Another middle infielder and a guy who overperformed in a short stint with his last team. I would be curious the last time a guy with a line like that (even for a short stint) got an outright release.

    If by dynasty you mean making the playoffs quite a bit in a terrible division and possibly lucking into a World Series, but getting absolutely destroyed by any AL team that makes it, then yes we could be a dynasty. Hey...St.Louis won the WS two years ago with a downright bad team...who says we can't.

    yes....no, thursday, i believe....and it's not open to the general public, or i would be going since i'm only about 15 miles from them. Really? I thought I heard on XM that there are Major league and Minor League "expos" throughout the week where teams take applications for for different positions (say...Single A play-by-play guy) and that generally there was a baseball convention...I figured you couldn't actually get into the GM meetings w/o a pass but figured there was at least some stuff for baseball geeks to take in.

    Not sure the exact structure of this thread, just thought it might be good to have a general "winter meetigns" thread. Specific trade rumors/proposals still keep their own threads, this is more of a random happenings/stuff not worthy of a full thread, thread. So, first off, They start today correct? Run through Friday? Anyone happen to be going?
