    actually, minute maid/enron is a neutral park as far as offense. everyone thinks it's a hitter's park because of the crawford boxes, but CF and the power alleys are very deep. But how many balls hit to deep CF there get misplayed because of that stupid hill?

    Hope for the best with this team, but ALWAYS, under EVERY circumstance, expect the worst. It's less painful that way when they rip your heart out. I'll keep that in mind the next time the Cubs are up 12-1 in the 9th. I'll be expecting 3 grand slams :wink: We don't get up 12-1 in the 9th. The Cubs never have a team that good.

    yeah and i'm surprised that it was jon miller who drove me to the mute button. when he started talking about how troy percival's veteran-ness was a big reason for the devil rays playing so well, i decided that was enough. Morgan was talking about Kent's veteran-ness over Ethier's newbness in the 1st inning.

    Crappy pitching led to Pierre hitting a line drive single up the middle. Well, singles tend to happen in Baseball. That said, he gets out of the inning easily if not for that horrid throw by Geo. I am not a Marquis fan at all, but that inning is on Geo. You can thank Kent for not swinging at the pitch that Pierre stole on. Joe Morgan said so himself. :roll:
