  1. Ya know, ever since that one game where everyone was on Soriano for swinging at every pitch, he's done pretty well. I'm just gonna jump off that bandwagon now. He's turned it around.
  2. Ward woulda been thrown out on that wild pitch.
  3. This announcing team has been strangely tolerable. This is a new one for me while watching Fox. Do these two usually call D-Back games?
  4. I do, but that doesn't make it funny or cool or anything.
  5. Wow, Snyder singles on a 99 mph fastball. I didn't think Dempster could throw that fast.
  6. Gahh, he is just missing the outside corner.
  7. Why do I think Soriano and Soto should trade spots in the lineup? Or something like below would be better than what's goin today? Theriot Soto Lee ARam Fukudome Soriano Derosa Johnson/Pie
  8. He must have been talking with Don Baylor in the offseason.
  9. Reds broadcast says Lee went to Dusy Baker's baseball school when he was young. I would think that makes players impatient at the plate, not good like Lee.
  10. Wow, switch Theriot and Cedeno's spots in the field and this lineup is perfect. Well, I wouldn't mind Soriano and Theriot switching spots either. I like this.
  11. You couldn't possibly be more wrong. and you couldn't possibly be more wrong about sending home a runner home with no outs, the middle of the lineup coming up, and down three runs. The LF was conceiving the run. It was an easy call. Luckily Fukudome at least got one run in, but that could have easily turned in to no runs. When you are down three you need to get every run you can. Cedeno woulda been out by at least 5 steps.
  12. Soriano swings at ball 1. Soriano hits a deep fly for an RBI (ESPN says it woulda been ball 2).
  13. This Fontenot/Cedeno/Theriot thing seems like a good problem to have.
  14. But he threw a pitch 5 inches off the plate to get Pujols to stike out... Soriano swings at a lot of pitches 5 in. off the plate.
  15. Can we have the Marquis that struck out Pujols back please? Soon?
  16. Does Rick Ankiel look kinda... questionable... to anyone else here?
  17. Please continue to talk crap about him. Hopefully he'll shut you up again. He'll do his usual 1 good AB where he hits a HR, then strike out on 7 total pitches in his next 3 ABs. I'm really tired of watching him swing at everything.
  18. Reed woulda made a OMGOMGOMG SPECTACULAR CATCHOFTHECENTURY!!!!! catch.
