  1. Time to cut him off, too much green beer.
  2. Scott Cassidy pitching. Pie with a base hit between first and second on an 0-2 pitch. Riot flies out to left. Hoffpauir batting.
  3. 5-3 groundout. McGehee to Hoffpauir. Last chance for the Cubs coming up.
  4. Fly to deep center caught by Pie. Runners tag. 7-3 Padres.
  5. Bloop just over the infield is snagged by Tomas Perez in shallow center. 1 out, runners hold.
  6. Warlond gives up a lead-off hit and a ground rule double. Runners on 2nd and 3rd, nobody out.
  7. The Warlond in to pitch the top of the ninth.
  8. He's trying to show some hustle? Maybe he thinks he has a chance to make the team or to be an early callup... He was like 10 feet away from the wall when he started that dive. I'm all for hustle, but that's just asking for trouble. There's a difference between playing hard and playing recklessly. Ask Pete Reiser. I'd be pissed if a Cub outfielder tried that.
  9. Sutcliffe back in a Cub uniform! Maybe he can come in to pitch the ninth.
  10. To be fair to Cotts, he only gave up 2 hits that inning. That's below his average for the spring.
  11. This might not be a bad choice for Cotts, it's got indoor plumbing. Just under 30 Gs. http://homepics.realtor.com/image2/http/westdesmoines/listings/large/035/297962_101.jpg
  12. I was hoping that, in honor of St. Patties day, Len and Bob would be broadcasting this game while drunk.
  13. Who's this guy wearing a green Cub hat and preaching plate discipline. Somebody call security.
  14. not quite  I take full and complete blame for killing that last half inning.
  15. Runners on for Jake Fox. 3 run bomb, anyone?
  16. Ugh, thank goodness there wasn't an injury.
  17. The Cub offense has fallen asleep. Time for Jake Fox to come in and untie this game.
