  1. I know Soriano, Gallagher, and others were partying at Edmonds' bar place earlier in the year when the Cubs were in town. Actually a bunch of Cubs fans gathering there would be pretty cool.
  2. Yeah, if I'm the recipient of that email I'm probably going to be more inclined to do the exact opposite of what he suggested doing.
  3. Fukudome is now 5 for his last 11. What a lift he'd provide if he could hit like he did towards the beginning of the year.
  4. Or April Lee. I'll go with any April 2005 Lee, July 2007 Zambrano and then you guys can pick the other months for everybody else. August 2003 Prior. :( September 2004 Prior. Remember his 9 innings 2 hit, 16 k baseball that we still lost? Didn't he take that game into the 10th? I might be Andy Petitte-ing that, but I seem to recall a game where he pitched more than 9 that year. Edit: Nope, I'm wrong. Thank you Baseball Reference. Looking at his game log that year makes me sad.
  5. Well this is stupid. And annoying to those of us who work.
  6. No, you are automatically re-registered, regardless of whether you won or not. the real question is CAN you register for the NLCS because if so, i will be registering a crapload of emails... what do i have to lose, my 1/50000000000 chance that i would've otherwise had? Good question. To anyone who's reading this and who won, did you register with just one address or multiple?
  7. If it's a number and/or letter combination, then it's unique. If it's something like "chicago," then it would be generic. its a 7 digit code consisting of random letters and numbers Will you post it once you're able to get your tickets? Were you seriously asking for somebody's password so you could try and get tickets and then re-sell them? Yessir. I didn't know if there was one specific password for each person, or if it was just a general password that everyone received.
  8. Looks like there are plenty of tickets still available. That, combined with how easy it was to get through the VWR means that not many people were selected at all. Which is [expletive].
  9. Just got this message, so it appears you're right. Thanks for sharing though! Additional orders for this exclusive onsale are restricted at this time. Please contact customer service if you have any questions.

  11. Haha, I opened about 10 windows and got through with 4 in like two minutes. If only I knew the password.
  12. I got an email from the DBacks with the subject line "NLDS Ticket Opportunity Winner" but the email was blank.
  13. I'm glad that Lou didn't start giving him less playing time last night, considering that he got on base 5 times.
  14. Rejected. Oh well, I'm not too upset. Admittedly, I had full intentions on reselling any tickets I could buy to fund my trip to Chicago for the World Series.
  15. Marquis hit a Grand Slam? Nice! Was it a jack or did it barely get out?
  16. This is insane.
  17. This is ridiculous. Why wait so long? Just send out the emails!
  18. Is there video anywhere of the final out and ensuing celebration?
  19. Contest is only open to people in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. What the hell? To stop people who buy tickets just to sell them for profit. Good call, I forgot that no one in Chicago does that.
  20. Contest is only open to people in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. What the hell?
  21. Dodgers tickets go on sale in a few... anyone going to try to get some? Edit: Just bought 2 to their first home game. I hope I can flip these for a decent profit.
  22. Fortunately, Sabathia is going for the Brewers, so you would think that they will win today.
  23. I'm heading up in a few hours... we'll be out tonight and at the game tomorrow.
  24. I don't want to have to root against the Cubs tomorrow... go Brewers!
