    He's only hit above .260 once in his career. I don't know how you can expect him to hit .280-.290 this year.

    Last year we had a predictions contest before the season started. I was just wondering if there was going to be another one this year.

    Indeed he was. My buddy and I found out that Todd really likes Jack Daniels. We also got him to take a picture of us from the field. Great guy. I also remember the Pierre chants. I can only imagine what I'll be hearing/chanting this year when I'm in the bleachers for a Cards game. I have a feeling Jimmy Edmonds doesn't like the bleacher bums.

    Didn't Williams have some not-so-kind words about Magglio Ordonez when he left last offseason? There seems to be a trend here with the Sox management trashing star players who go to other teams.

    Do the Reds and Pirates really each have three lefties in their rotation? That's not exactly common. Who are they?

    So, I lucked out today and managed to get tickets to Opening Day this year. I've never been to any team's Opening Day though, so I was wondering what to expect. Do they have any ceremonies or anything like that? Anyone know what they've done the past few years or what is planned for this year?

    I guess I got caught up in the craze or something because I purchased a set of bleacher seats for the July 30th game against the Cards, along with a pair of seats in section 236 for that game too. So... I'm gonna need to sell the two seats in section 236. If anyone is interested, PM me. And I want to be upfront... I do want to make some profit. This game is already sold out, and after spending 500+ dollars on tickets today, I'd like to recoup some of that. The face value, after taxes and all that, is 70 and some change. If you're interested, let me know.

    JEALOUS! I want just 4 to the 4/8 game. I gotta nice collection of magnet schedules dating back to 2000. I'll probably be going with a couple Cards fans, so if you really want one, I could mail one to you.

    Unlike last year, I actually have money this year so I'd really like to get tickets for a few games. Even if I don't get in again though, I'm still ecstatic that I'm going to see the Cubs and Cards at Wrigley, something I've never done before.
