    7-4 since the AS Break. Beating St. Louis 2 out of 3 does help. If they can keep this pace, which is probably unlikely, but is possible, 9.5 games can be easily erased.

    I think the deal-breaker on this, other than the money amount, was that "chance for each school to have its own network." So, here's hoping to see something like, "Wildcat Network" "PowerMizzou TV" "RockChalk Network" etc. Each university could make some money on the side in their own terms. And at the same time, as a 10-team league, the Big 12 would be more profitable than having a 12 team, IMHO. While losing Nebraska does hurt in terms of value, losing Colorado was a god-send, because Colorado was CLEARLY underperforming, and was not worth a damn keeping. And most likely, Nebraska and Colorado will eventually have to pay the exit penalty. Pay up, suckas!

    Nah. He's a rookie, he'll go through some rookie struggles. Once he gets more at-bats, opposing pitchers/coaches/scouts will have more film and scouting reports to get a full evaluation on him, and make the necessary adjustments against him. What I DO hope for is when that DOES happen against Castro, that Castro is capable of making adjustments AFTER the pitchers made adjustments against him.

    I would also consider how much impact the 1994-1995 strike did to attendence in general. Seemed like it took a long time for it to recover.
