  2. You're a bit harsh on yourself. He wants to end the misery of losing in his own league quickly and painlessly. No he's used to it by now. You talk a lot of crap for someone who's going to get a butt kicking this year. You couldn't beat your way out of wet paper sack.
  3. Jeez. Nice Dunlap. I'm one to talk. Looks like he is wearing a chest protector under the jersey.

  5. Real big game tonight. Lots of shuffling going on in the middle of the Big 12, hopefully Mizzou can get their 3rd in a row against an OU team that hasn't fared very well on the road. Lunardi is normally very, very good with his predictions. I'd really like to believe that the Big 12 has that much weight, if for nothing else that it keeps a shred of hope that Mizzou could get an at-large with a miracle spurt to end the season, but I don't think that's the case. The Big 12 is down this year, 7th in RPI(just below the Valley and above the Mountain West) among conferences, and I'm not sure if KSU is guaranteed a spot considering some of the other conference crunches, unless they beat one of the other 4 tourney teams(KU, aTm,Tech, Texas) in the conference tourney. Fixed
  6. Go Texas! Sorry, but I'll have to root against Tech and Okie Light from now on... May a longhorn find it's way into you backyard! Just for that you will finish 5th in the Big 12.
  7. Rickey says "If Julio is still playing so can Rickey"
  8. king hippo? More like fried goldfish.

  12. Big game tonight as Texas Tech heads to Texas. Hopefully this time they have a plan to slow down Durant.
  13. Could some of his bad numbers be due to switching leagues last year?
  14. Who cares about next season. If he can steal his and the Cubs way to the World Series this year. Am I missing something here? Next=This Huh? Wood has a contract for this season but not for next season.

  16. Santo: I'm here with the fine fine manager of the Chicago Cubs, Lou Piniella. . Lou: The season hasn't started yet Ron. Santo: Ok, let's see. First, you want me to pick up your drycleaning, second get the oil changed on your car, and then get it detailed? Lou: Don't forget the beer and hotdogs. It's almost lunchtime.
  17. Heck I thought the Cubs reaquired Juan Cruz! I wonder how he lost all that weight. John Kruk, Dan Marino, and Don Shula
  18. Interesting guess on this week's bracketology: Round 2 out west: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology Red Raiders take out UCLA for the 2nd time in 3 years.
  19. I talked to the Syracuse Chiefs trainer and he said that a lot of the players don't work hard or see the value of keeping in shape until they get hurt. They have this "I'm indestructible" feeling and just think they are every going to need to do the things they need to do to stay healthy and prolong their careers and for many it's too late when they finally realize this. So you are saying there is wisdom in old age?? could be, or his wife said "Kerry, you are starting to look like John Kruk." I know that would do it for me. Or maybe she said, "Kerry if you don't lose some weight, you're not going to be able to get your fat arse out of this hot tub."
  20. Hmmm... remind you of anyone else? :-k 8-[ John Am....

  22. If he plays gold glove caliber defense and hits about .280+ in the 8 hole, I think his health is definitely important. If Cesar Izturis hits over .280 I'll buy everyone here Coke. Because the odds are signifigantly stacked against him. As was noted, his career OBP is .295. He's only OBP's over .300 twice, and one of those was a hearty .302. He's terrible, and he'd help the team more on the DL than he would in the batting order. Watch it Micheal Irvin is lurking now that he is unemployed.
  23. H2H. Mondays are out for me as far as nights...that's bowling night.
  24. Helps keep the cork in.
  25. "I've got a headache THIS big, and it's got Excedrin written all over it." "I go to LaBamba and they have a burrito as big as your head."
