  1. I don't think it is logical to expect our A.D. to make a snap decision favoring your team.
  2. A buddy just sent me a link with a picture. That would've killed whoever was sitting in that seat, no doubt. yikes! Yeah, that would not have turned out well. :-o
  3. Havent they been renovating it? Not that I'm aware of, not yet anyways. They got the $40 million donation for renovations recently but that work probably isn't starting until after the season. Maybe Fred Glass should ask for some extra money to replace the roof. 8-)
  4. Indiana-Iowa postponed due to metal falling from the ceiling of Assembly Hall and damaging seats.
  5. The grumbling about Crean is definitely becoming a thing. It isn't just on the message boards. But like Exile said, his buyout is through the roof for at least 4 years or so. The only way he is losing his job anytime soon is if the big money donors get fed up enough to cough up the buyout cash.
  6. As long as he is projected in the draft lottery, I tend to believe he is gone. Especially since he does not get the ball nearly as much as he should in Indiana's offense. Staying at IU for another season isn't going to that much for his development, may as well go pro and start working with a professional coaching staff sooner.
  7. Worth quoting again. True today too.
  8. Hanner Perea got picked up for OWI at 4:45am this morning.
  9. Also when you do get the offense set up, stand perfectly still while Yogi dribbles the air out of the ball for nearly 30 seconds then pass to Evan Gordon for a bricked shot and/or turnover.
  10. Not really sure who is left on our schedule that you can truly qualify as a crap team given how mucked up the middle of the pack is right now. Teams like Nebraska, Northwestern and Penn State have shown some life. If we can win out at home and get at least two more road wins, that would put us at 10-8, 20-11 heading into the Big Ten tournament. But I don't see this team being consistent enough to finish 6-3. Probably 9-9 or 8-10 is the more likely scenario.
  11. Cam Cameron, lol.
  12. Pacers sign Andrew Bynum for the remainder of the season. :stickman:
  13. Actually right now I think Noah is our best 3 point shooter. Which you don't want him living on the perimeter but he needs to get the ball more. I understand teams pack the inside to prevent him from getting the ball in the post as much but you can find other ways to get the ball in his hands. Also I think he needs to be playing 30+ minutes. Crean plays way too many guys right now. All 13 players saw the court yesterday. Hartman can't get off the bench and suddenly he is getting minutes in a game like that? I don't get it at all. I wish Tom would shorten his bench and have a consistent rotation. Lyle doesn't even have IU on his list anymore. Crean wanted him to commit early and that didn't happen so I think that recruitment is over for good. At this point I expect Noah to go pro and Jeremy to transfer. Next season could be another rough one. Definitely. Rotation needs to be shortened. No idea why that #3 (can't remember his name) keeps getting minutes in close games. I understand he can shoot and handle a little, but he doesn't shoot or handle. Gives up the ball and passes on shots. Same with Hartman, who apparantly can shoot in practice. Hollowell probably shouldn't play much either. Johnny Marlin! Who came to IU from IPFW! He is filling the gaping hole that Daniel Moore left when he declared for the NBA draft.
  14. Also while I understand our lack of perimeter shooting is a big limitation, I think they could do something more effective in the half court offense other than standing around or running that dumb ass weave 20+ feet from the basket until the shot clock gets down to 10 seconds and forces Yogi or someone else to force a bad shot. :-"

  16. Crean didn't manage the game too well either.
  17. Illinois is running the Mike Davis CT3 offense? :-k :stickman:
  18. Fortunately for Illinois, we are treating Vonleh like he has the doomsday virus right now. One field goal in the half, ugh.
  19. Because of the endorsements? He did a bang up job of getting Super Bowl MVP against a Bears defense missing Tommie Harris and Mike Brown. And he wasn't even the most valuable Colt in that game. Peyton can go to hell. When he threw that pick 6 to Tracey Porter in his second SB appearance I was very pleased. I'm never going to root for that guy. Yes I'm bitter. What the hell? I was explaining why he annoys me. If you think it is crazy talk, you might be correct. But it is how I feel.

  21. Peyton Manning has been annoying me for years, I think in this match-up I might side with the roid raging Richard Sherman. The main downside being that I can't stand Pete Carroll. For me, there is no good choice here.
  22. Collins > Crean
  23. Can Ohio State just drop out of the Top 20 now? They are not that good.
  24. The three posts from IU fans about IU's win made this thread unreadable for a week? HOO HOO HOOSIERS! :stickman:
  25. That was very pleasantly surprising!
