  1. I have the game on but I can barely bring myself to watch it. Nothing is worse than feeling this disinterested when there is still 5 games left (including today).
  2. Now I have seen everything. :pig: :-))
  3. So apparently the Bulls were so bad when Artest played there that he would drink Hennessy at halftime. Wow, lol. :-)) http://blogs.suntimes.com/sportsprose/2009/12/ron_artest_says_he_drank_durin.html
  4. Paterno does believe that. It was mentioned in the Sporting News not too long ago.
  5. Good job Nits. The Big Ten is way overdue to win this thing. Maybe this is the year.
  6. You haven't spelled his name right for even longer. Eh, I usually remember it is Hummel. I almost edited it but I am tired. Plus, who cares about him anyway. Good point.

  8. Why? Who cares about his sexuality? He didn't say anyone did. At the least this is intriguing just because it's rare and very uncommon. All that said it has always been assumed that sports are similar to the military in that homosexual's are wanted. Not justifying it but if he was to come out as openly gay he would be the first prominent player of any sport (to my knowledge) to do so in his prime. What? :-)) *aren't eat me Hey cut me some slack I haven't used Robbie Hummell's name in vain for a while now. \:D/
  9. Where is that information coming from? I am just curious because deadspin did not really mention that detail as far as I could tell and I did not find any other links saying that. Maybe he was showing off for the ladies too? It isn't like he is the first pro athlete to take pics of himself.........in recent memory I can think of Jeff Reed and Santonio Holmes too.

  11. Yeah I'd just as soon keep Bradley right now because none of the trade options are going to be promising.
  12. I have to say this Bears team has just sucked the life out of me. I mean I've seen my fair share of bad football in the last 24 years (1990's still give me nightmares) but man, even with some of the bad teams I've been able to find reasons to stay invested emotionally. This team......it just feels like they quit on games so often. Just a total mess all the way around. I dunno. I was really excited about this season too. It sucks. Before Week 10, I remember sitting on my couch during pregame and thinking "man it is Week 10 and I've already conceded the season." It is sad. Oh well.
  13. That was a rough ending, I thought for sure they would kick the ball out for a 3 attempt on that last possession.
  14. He's been great, but still. 2000 yards is insane.
  15. Oh wow Titans win on the last play of the game. What a play!
  16. Compromising photos of the McCaskey family? :-#
  17. Mookie Wilson
  18. I'm shocked Stanford would run the ball in that situation. Just put the ball in the middle of the field and kick the extra point as time expires. They're still very likely to win, but I wouldn't want to have to defend against these receivers for even less than a minute. Too bad that ND didn't let them score the previous play after he broke through and saved their second timeout. Yeah I was surprised Stanford did not do that. They could have ran the clock down and won as time expired. And now Tate is killing Stanford again, lol. I like Harbaugh but man, why even give ND a chance here?
  19. I don't see much of Stanford usually but man it is fun to watch Gebhart run the ball.
  20. Oh god bless you Tim Tebow. He should petition the NCAA for another year of eligibility so I can hear more about his exploits next season! \:D/
  21. UCLA tied it up with 8 seconds left but Butler draws a foul with 0.6 seconds left........and Butler wins by 2. Nice finish though.
  22. UCLA down by 2 to Butler with 27.3 seconds left.
  23. Brilliant one minute drill by Auburn. :-))
  24. Good defense by the ref on that 3rd down play for Bama. :-))
  25. It has nothing whatsoever to do with a sense of entitlement and more to do with the fact that ND would likely lose money going to that bowl game and has very little to gain from it. Yes, practice time, but if the new coach isn't ready/able to coach the bowl game, what good does practice time under a lame-duck coaching staff do? Not to mention the predictable media laugh-fest if ND lost to Central Michigan - which I'm certain they would do. Seriously, there aren't a whole lot of reasons to go to a Pizza Bowl, but if it makes you feel better to make up some sense of entitlement that doesn't exist, then go ahead. If Notre Dame actually does turn down a bowl game I think the media would hit them just as hard over that......."who does ND think they are, etc, blah blah". Yes teams lose money on bowl games sometimes. It happens. But I've never ever heard of any team seriously consider refusing a bowl game to stay home for the holidays. So when that talk comes in involving Notre Dame, yes it absolutely is going to be associated with the idea of a "sense of entitlement".
