  1. Purdue loses another Big Ten game, how sad. 8-)
  2. Your missing your best player. I know. It doesn't show in the W/L column, but watching this year's team has been enjoyable. There are at least signs of light with this team. I don't think Crean is god by any stretch, but he's building the program up incrementally. I generally agree but watching those final 8 minutes tonight was torture and not at all enjoyable.
  3. Yeah, pretty much.
  4. Dakich couldn't have bee supported more when he took over for Sampson. Not sure I understand that statement. Now, the admin didn't give him any chance at the full time gig, but I'd rather have Crean all things considered. It was the right choice. I'm admittedly basing it on a small sample size, but the stuff said him on Peegs was pretty horrendous considering he was a guy who stepped in to try and restore a shred of credibility to the program I think the sentiment towards Dakich on the interwebs lightened up quite a bit once people found out about all the drug use and other BS by Sampson's recruits.
  5. But Daniel Moore hitting a 3 pointer has me concerned. Could the end of the world be coming sooner than 2012? :?
  6. Nice first half. Still not convinced IU will hang on and win but being up 13 at halftime is better than I expected.
  7. Dear BTN, Please stop cutting to shots of Weber & Crean while the ball is in play. k thx
  8. Meh Texas only gets two field goals out of those two opportunities. Doesn't bode well for them.....well that and McCoy getting hurt of course.
  9. Me too. I can't stand Texas.
  10. Go Tech. I'm still bitter about the IU-Iowa game. Actually I don't care. Go Big Ten. An Iowa win would clinch a winning bowl season for the conference right?

  12. They both get some blame but Lovie is deservedly under scrutiny. After the Super Bowl appearance he got a big contract and the power to re-organize his coaching staff and quite frankly he has used that increased power very poorly. He got rid of some decent coaches in favor of his own buddies and we all see how that has worked out.
  13. BSU loves the Fiesta Bowl now I guess. 2-0.
  14. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h228/sebennett99/lol.jpg :-))
  15. I think it's kind of interesting. And I disagree with those who said the end of the season sucked. There were meaningful seedings questions (especially when that involves domed teams and cold weather teams), and the entire AFC was fighting for 2 wild card spots. I enjoyed the last two weeks of this NFL season much more than I enjoyed the last month of baseball. When was the last time an NFL wild-card playoff game featured a week 17 rematch, much less three? It's definitely happened more than a handful of times. I am drawing a blank on examples but it's happened multiple times in the last maybe 10 years (1 rematch that is) NFL Network said last night it has happened 9 times and the team that won the final week matchup is 4-5 the following week.
  16. Must be nice.
  17. 31-35 for 480+ yards..........lol. Yeah scrimimage for sure.
  18. I'll never get to see Tim Tebow play college football again. As Brennaman said, tears are coming even at home. :-)) Seriously Thom just meet Tim after the game and get it over with. :-&
  19. More than likely true. I don't have a huge problem with this signing. I'm not excited about it or anything but it isn't terrible. Now THAT is a ringing endorsement right there........"well it isn't terrible". lol
  20. Alex Legion has chosen his next school and it is..........Florida International. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2009/12/legion-to-transfer-to-florida-intl-play-for-isiah-thomas.html :-))
  21. IU is probably just being a tease but a 34-28 halftime lead is nice. I really, really hope they can finish this and get a Big Ten win in the opener! :beg:
  22. Epic buzz kill. I feel like sulley now. :cray:
  23. imo, this is seriously the biggest deal about this game for us as a team going into the future. he did extremely well against one of the best DEs in the league. Yes that was huge. But it once again puts that thought in my mind about this coaching staff to be far too slow to absorb things.......it took too long to let Aromashadu play and it took far too long to shuffle Chris back to LT which is what the Bears originally drafted him to play. These adjustments could have been a heck of a lot more helpful weeks ago.
  24. Really you should just stop watching football period if you are still angsty about what Cutler did tonight. You are doing it wrong. Exactly, my God hes sounding like Voice of [expletive] Reason when talking about college football. He not once complimented Cutler for his game tonight, during or after, but as soon as he made 1 mistake he was calling him brain dead. Its asinine Pretty much. But ignorance is bliss I guess. Some people aren't happy unless they can find something to be miserable about.
