  1. LOL that graphic was hilarious. I mean seriously?????? ESPN outdid themselves there.
  2. I'm pouring out a 40oz on the curb tonight in his memory.
  3. If I was a Saints fan I think my level of concern would be heavily tempered by seeing my team win the Super Bowl within the current calendar year. Precious few teams manage to repeat anyways.
  4. 17 points in one quarter, I didn't think the Bears would score 17 in the entire game! :yahoo:
  5. Not really. I think IU is a clear eighth-best at this point, which is promising progress. Any higher than that would be really, really difficult. At this point I just want to finish .500 overall and wherever that puts us in the Big Ten standings, so be it. NIT OR BUST! :stickman:
  6. No. Hater.
  7. I started following the Cubs in 1987 and two seasons that stand out to me as brutal were 1997 and 1999. The 0-14 start in 1997 was about as bad as it gets. Nothing says awesome like seeing all hope get crushed in the first 2 weeks of April. The 1999 team I remember for starting pretty well through April and part of May from what I recall. They had a lot of exciting come from behind wins early. Then the bottom fell out completely. It was especially painful because the 1998 season was so much fun and I was hoping the Cubs would build upon that.
  8. Eh, I have no problem laughing at my own team but that was lame.
  9. Feeling the same way. 2 very emotional wins the last 2. 3 really when you think about Week 1 being the opener and a dramatic finish. This definitely could be a letdown game, especially on a short week. That being said, the Giants are not a good team. The Bears should win this game, they are the better team. But I have a feeling they won't. I'm fairly certain a prime time game in New York will keep the Bears focused on the task at hand. I'd be more worried about a letdown against Carolina next week, not tonight.
  10. Michigan will win by at least 10. This. As long as Denard Robinson doesn't get hurt, Michigan isn't going to lose to any teams like Indiana. Michigan and Indiana both finished 1-7 in the Big Ten last year so I find that comment kind of funny. At the moment I'm not sure there is that much really separating the two teams. Yes, Denard Robinson is incredible but Michigan will have just as much trouble stopping the IU offense. There were will be a ton of points scored either way so special teams and turnovers will make the difference.
  11. Whoa! mind = blown, it all makes sense now!
  12. So then if the Bears lose a game due primarily to yardage given up due to missed tackles, do Bears fans then forfeit the right to complain about it because "this is how your team has been losing for years?" (that isn't directed at you, Wilson, but I think it's a fair question.) lol you are so bad at logical arguments This. I'm just making the same argument you guys were. Sorry you can't handle it turned back around on you. You aren't even making sense, go to bed man.

  14. Penalties aren't part of the game? Give me a break. The better team won tonight. The Packers obviously lack discipline. I won't disagree about the discipline part. However, on pure football talent alone, the Packers are the better team. The fact that they're a bunch of damn morons prone to [expletive] penalties decided the game tonight. Not the talent posessed by the players on the field. Talent was a factor, but the penalties were the deciding factor. A team stupid enough to commit 17 penalties deserves to lose. And they deserve to walk back to Green Bay. You can have your "better team" and we will deal with being above you in the standings. Deal? :hello: :stickman:
  15. Not too surprising. Typical Packer fan behavior tbh. I actually had a buddy over and was watching the game in my living room. I didn't live on NSBB during the entire game. I prefer social interaction. It doesn't make your homer crybaby posts any less pathetic. :hello:

  17. WAIT THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE SHOULD EXPECT THE BEARS TO WIN THIS GAME. Any Green Bay fans crying about this loss are just :^o
  18. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5596131 Awesome. =D>
  19. Holy crap! Glad he is okay. That is scary.
  20. First half is about what I expected tbh. Dallas isn't a better football team than the Bears.
  21. I remember those plays. The Peterson one reminds me an awful lot of the Polamalu interception that was called an incomplete pass in that Colts-Steelers playoff game in January 2006.
  22. I did tune in for the 9th inning to see Marmol put the finishing touches on yet another nail in the Cardinals coffin. \:D/
  23. QB sneak ftw. I don't see how a QB sneak doesn't work from that close to the goal. Cutler is a big guy, he just needed to fall forward.
  24. When considering this call look at the Polamalu interception of Manning that got called incomplete in the 2006 playoffs. Pretty much the same rule was called. Troy cleanly picked the pass but tumbled to the ground and at some point let the ball go. Clearly not a new rule. Like I said, I don't think it is a good rule the way it is being called but I don't think it is fair or accurate to act like this was some huge blunder by the refs today. They are supposed to call the rules as they are written. This particular rule just needs to be revisited and written differently imo.
