  1. Matt Carlino leaving UCLA: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2010/12/ucla-basketball-matt-carlino-decides-to-transfer.html This is the kid that was an IU verbal commit until this past March but then re-opened his commitment and chose UCLA. His dad met with Ben Howland to talk about his lack of PT. What is this, little league baseball?
  2. Yeah he worked for Randy Walker at both Miami OH and NU. Which also means he got to work on the same staff as Terry Hoeppner while at Miami so I'm hoping some of Terry's enthusiasm rubbed off on him. I just hope Kevin is able to find a good DC too.
  3. He was probably running out of talented players to chase off.
  4. So am I to assume this would be looked at as a good hire then? I really don't know anything about Wilson.
  5. Well in 2008 and 2009 Duke played in Mackey Arena and the Kohl Center for the challenge respectively. Yeah they finally went into true road venues. I wish with Sergio and Frankie we would have got them to come to Assembly Hall. Duke has also played at Assembly Hall (IU version) in the challenge, I believe. Yeah in the final year of Mike Davis....the game where Marco Killingsworth lit up Duke for 30+ points and got to pretend to be a good player for a week or two.
  6. The Heat probably wish they could play the Cavs more often.
  7. Based on the previous Miami games I've watched when they are both on the floor it has seemed like Wade has deferred to Lebron quite a bit and ended up just standing in a corner.
  8. So they beat one team with a winning record. Wow. Yep. 1-7 against teams with winning records so far this season. The one win was against Orlando in the first week of the season if I remember correctly.
  9. someone running on the court would be the only thing that would make that game remotely interesting Oh yeah, because those Heat have been so unbeatable this year. Especially on the road. Well they are 10-1 against teams with losing records. They are really good at beating the bad teams and no matter how much the Cavs fans want to see an upset tonight....well, the Cavs are still a bad team. :P
  10. Yeah, played really well in the 2nd offensively. Still gave up 45 on D though. Only 3 TOs in the 2nd half. Boarded better. Shot much better. Moved the ball much better (10 assists to 5 in the 1st half). Watford is much better than he was last year. Rivers is much more under control. Creek is coming back to form. Yeah our offense isn't going to be good enough to overcome terrible defense. That and if Hulls is going to play the way he did last night I don't think VJIII needs to be running the point anymore. His assist/turnover ratio is just bad. Dude is a scorer, let him run off screens to get some shots instead of handling the basketball.
  11. I just wish IU would decide to actually show up at tip off for once. They have started slow in all 7 games so far.
  12. Yes sir, go Pacers! And um, go Josh McBob (throws up in mouth). \:D/
  13. Guy Marc-Michel ruled ineligible by the NCAA: http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=78781 Stupid France.
  14. I'm guessing this has been posted before but I just found it so...........ya know. http://www.gusjohnsongetsbuckets.com/
  15. Yep. :D http://www.insidethehall.com/2010/11/24/video-yogi-ferrell-commits-to-indiana/
  16. I would not be surprised but I'm going to relish this win for the time being. Final tally for bench scoring in the game - Pacers 40, Heat 4.
  17. The thing about this game tonight is the Pacers have basically dominated Miami since the 1st quarter. Miami never got closer than 7 points in the 2nd half at any point.
  18. They will certainly get better. But right now, they are not a great team, only a decent one. And don't get me started on the stats. Losing to the Pacers at home. Hilarious. I guess Haslem was more important that we thought. I'll say this much, when you have to play a 37 year old Juwan Howard some significant minutes you have bench issues. Getting Miller & Haslem back healthy will certainly help them.
  19. It also helps that DWade is 1-13 from the field. \:D/ 85-72 Pacers with about 3 minutes left.
  20. Last I checked the Pacers bench had outscored the Miami bench 34-4 tonight. That is pretty huge lol.
  21. Rush with 20 points now, Pacers up 81-69.
  22. Brandon Rush looking good tonight. 74-64 Pacers headed to the 4th.
  23. Pacers up 54-41 over the Heat at halftime. True story - Lebron let Josh McRoberts steal the ball from him in the 1st quarter.
  24. The word among some of the Indy kids is that Harris is considering moving up his time frame and yes, the buzz is about IU. BUT INDIANA HAS ZERO CHANCE AT HARRIS!
  25. I read that earlier today. It just seems bizarre. Why would Bill Carmody run off a talented kid like Coble if he was actually capable of coming back and playing this season? There has to be something more at play here.
