  1. Ya this home plate ump is giving him a very generous zone
  2. LOL way to backtrack man. Saying somebody is sitting on their fat ass is insinuating somebody is doing nothing. But whatever man
  3. 4-3 Milw San Fran on the comeback
  4. Get away with what? You said hes sittinig on his fat ass, and its obvious hes not. Big name players rarely get traded until the deadline.
  5. Thats true, and I feel your pain. I have Sheets, Street, Felix Hernandez, among Andruw Jones and Barret underperming, and Lee not hitting for power.
  6. He also traded Izturis. To think hes just sitting around is stupid. It takes 2 teams to complete a trade, and usually nothing happens untill the deadline.
  7. Wow Rose with almost 2100 hits in the 70's its a shame hes not in the Hall. Nobody else with over 1900 hits in a century since the 50's
  8. Wow Petit getting a generous strike zone on that pitch to Theriot
  9. Im not a Hendry fan, but to say hes sitting on his large ass after this past week or so would be ridiculous.
  10. Wow Braun made it out vs a lefty, thats his 1 out for the week against a lefty
  11. 4-1 Milw vizquel RBI single
  12. Left handers should just stop pitching to the Brewers. Im being serious when saying Lilly Hill or Marshall should not face them in the next series. Let Z Marquis and Gallagher throw.
  13. Hart 2 run HR. Zito sucks and the Brew crew keeps killing lefties
  14. Lets hope so, however we dont have anybody like Braun, with a 1.763 OPS against lefties. My God thats ridiculous, and the whole Brewer team just mashes lefties.
  15. I know you said earlier that Sean was back throwing his slider, but is this just while hes with the ML club, or are they allowing him to throw it in Iowa also? I would think they'd want him throwing it down there to get the feel completley back, but they could also be worried with the injury concerns regarding a slider.
  16. I didn't know it was that long. Wow. 10-12 months is rather generous really. It usually takes up to 18 months or so to get back to normal. It wouldnt surprise me if hes back pitching in 12 months, but it wont be the same Carpenter.
  17. He still might be, actually. On the other hand, who wants to take that risk? Depending on the cost in players, I'd take it. Theriot + Petrick. I'd take the risk, though I might try Cedeno + Petrick. But either way, it's a small price to pay for the upgrade if Tejeda comes back healthy. Looks like Tejada could be back by the end of this week. He has already started doing baseball activities, I just wonder if there is any chance he could get moved.
  18. How exactly do you go about replacing Hill? He's a top 20-40 starter in the game under team control for the forseeable future. Wow, that is a bold statement. I think that that this is wildly untrue but I would be happy to listen to you prove it. I'm a bit late, but since you asked me and I'm not a huge fan of VORP, I'll lay it out for you. As of today, among qualified starters(or at least 80 IP) Hill is: 31st in ERA 13th in WHIP 19th in K/9 34th in K/BB 21st in Average Game Score (whatever that's worth) 13th in Batting Average against 18th in OBP against 27th in OPS against So, there you have it. What's the justification for Hill being outside the Top 40? He only has 1 pitch........
  19. Looks like the Brewer fans are starting to freak out and get a little desperate. http://p092.ezboard.com/Curse-the-Cubs-Thread/fbrewersfandemoniumfrm3.showMessage?topicID=16026.topic
  20. I guess I really dont see where thats a shot at the Bears. Do you expect him to say, " this offense sucks, thats why they got me"?

I think that that this is wildly untrue but I would be happy to listen to you prove it. His numbers since he became a full time starter prove it, so I dont know why you seem to think is such a wild bold statement.
