Glad to see Im not alone in my thinking. Yep cuz its his fault this gem will be wasted. 2 runs over 7 with the wind blowing out in Wrigley? Pretty good day. It's not about it being his fault. They are talking about taking Marquis out before he gives up the last out. I happen to disagree, but the way things worked they were right. I'll take 7 and 2 from Marquis everytime. Im sure we would all take 7 and 2 from Jason, and Im not blaming him if they lose this game, but Lou should have made a move.

Whos saying that? No one but you acted as if he scattered about 12 hits and was in trouble ever inning. No I havent its about gladfully taking what Marquis had given us, and not pressing out luck, which is what Lou did, and it backfired.

Why? One overworked bullpen arm, and one really bad bullpen arm. There are other people in our bullpen, Lou! Eyre hasnt been bad for awhile

There's no need to take Marquis out right now. Only thrown 75 pitches (coming into Loney's AB) with 50 of them strikes. He's only allowed three hits and hasn't walked any. Its not about the amount of pitches. With Marquis its really obvious when hes losing it, he gets the ball up and loses the strike zone. If this was Marshall Lou wouldve taken him out. You happily take what Marquis gave you thru 6 and call it a day.

Has been all game...I have no idea why, after the first inning, we didn't make him throw more pitches... Its the Cubs?

Its not the lineup that is the problem, its the team in general. They swing at 1st pitches way too much, and things arent going to change this year.

no reason to hit the zone with this Cubs team, they are going to swing no matter what anyway.
