  1. I wonder if he's now out of the rotation again....that leaves them with a 3 man rotation... Todd Wellemeyer to the rescue!
  2. Maybe Larussa should try the 3 man rotation of Wainwright Looper and Pinero
  3. HAHAHA hows that 6 man rotation working? Now everybody knows why I wanted this game to get in, and not have a rain delay
  4. And the subject of one of SNL's greatest skits. He was the CBS 2 anchor in the 80's and 90's. Hip hip hooray for Soriano. This right here folks is about as much excitement that you will see from Goony lol
  5. Dont look now folks, but I think Alfonso is starting to get hot! Thats why we paid you the big bucks! WOOOOOO
  6. I LOVE U SORIANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Noway Soriano takes a walk in this situation......prove me wrong!
  8. I really dont know why teams throw Soriano a fastball or a strike
  9. Glad to see Im not alone in my thinking. Yep cuz its his fault this gem will be wasted. 2 runs over 7 with the wind blowing out in Wrigley? Pretty good day. It's not about it being his fault. They are talking about taking Marquis out before he gives up the last out. I happen to disagree, but the way things worked they were right. I'll take 7 and 2 from Marquis everytime. Im sure we would all take 7 and 2 from Jason, and Im not blaming him if they lose this game, but Lou should have made a move.
  10. BALL 4! Come on Soriano! Pinch run for Floyd Lou
  11. Whos saying that? No one but you acted as if he scattered about 12 hits and was in trouble ever inning. No I havent its about gladfully taking what Marquis had given us, and not pressing out luck, which is what Lou did, and it backfired.
  12. Glad to see Im not alone in my thinking. Yep cuz its his fault this gem will be wasted. 2 runs over 7 with the wind blowing out in Wrigley? Pretty good day. It is but Lou should know his pitchers by now, and you could tell Jason was starting to get the ball up, which is when trouble follows for him
  13. Werent all 3 teams within a game of 1st coming into yesterday?
  14. Glad to see Im not alone in my thinking.
  15. Why? One overworked bullpen arm, and one really bad bullpen arm. There are other people in our bullpen, Lou! Eyre hasnt been bad for awhile
  16. There's no need to take Marquis out right now. Only thrown 75 pitches (coming into Loney's AB) with 50 of them strikes. He's only allowed three hits and hasn't walked any. Its not about the amount of pitches. With Marquis its really obvious when hes losing it, he gets the ball up and loses the strike zone. If this was Marshall Lou wouldve taken him out. You happily take what Marquis gave you thru 6 and call it a day.
  17. And people wonder why I said get him out of there. It was obvious he was losing his stuff. When Marquis starts getting the ball up trouble will follow. good job Lou, and we still arent taking him out?WTF Lou?
  18. We are pressing our luck, you take what Marquis has given you today and say great job and give it to the bullpen
  19. Get him out of here before things get real bad. We are pressing our luck
  20. Has been all game...I have no idea why, after the first inning, we didn't make him throw more pitches... Its the Cubs?
  21. Its not the lineup that is the problem, its the team in general. They swing at 1st pitches way too much, and things arent going to change this year.
  22. no reason to hit the zone with this Cubs team, they are going to swing no matter what anyway.
