    And it looks like instead of the Jim Macomb infomercials tonight, I get to see a screen of black yay! Seriously its Sept and they are showing games on CSN+? Take one of the April or May games against the Pirates, Nationals, Marlins, etc.... off and show all Sept games. I know it doesnt happen often that they have to think about that chance we might be in a race, but at least do it just in case. GAH I HATE CSN+!

    Im anxiously waiting to see if this one is picked up here in Pekin. Earlier in the year I could get CSN+ games on 74 but for some reason lately I get Jim Macomb infomercials....

    Bruce, any reasoning behind Murton 8th that you know of? Jesus H. Christmas. He's in the freaking lineup. Quit whining. Ok, but only because you say so......The fact of the matter is, Monroe has done nothing since becoming a Cub, but like you said at least Murtons in the lineup, and lineup construction doesnt matter much anyway.

    He hit a HR and posed like was Manny Ramirez or something. He strutted halfway to first base like he was on a catwalk or something. I have to admit it was actually kind of funny in a sad sort of way. He'll need another 2 or 3 seasons like this one before he can begin to get away with that crap. And he'll have to study some videotape of Sosa, ARam and Soriano to really perfect it... Riiiight

    Id say the biggest positive to come from yesterdays game, is it looks like we might be getting ready for a Soriano hot streak. We all know waht happened last time he went on a streak.

    I would hardly consider Loney and Ethier to be "skid marks". they are compared to the guys the Cubs have. Also, Ramirez should never have been used so early, and Lou's gonna regret it. Funny you never said a word about using Aram when they did as it happened.

    Is this coming as a surprise to anyone? That freaking team could sign Neifi Perez and Jose Macias and drag 100 OPS+ seasons out of both of them, complete with gold gloves. No they couldn't, and Ankiel isn't that big of surprise because we've known all along he could hit. Not like this.

    Unbelievable OPS well over 1.100 right now and only hit .250 in the minors ridiculous
