    So I just got home and seen the score, hows Rich looked tonight?

    Yes the Cubs have many more problems than Dempser but any aggresssion toward posters who have simply pointed out that Dempster was horrible last year and mediocre (at best) this year is misguided and should be redirected at Hendry for giving Dempster ($5.3 million per) and Eyre big contracts after career years. Just because the game shouldn't have made it to extras doesn't mean Dempster with his 2 - 6 record and 3.88 ERA should be given a free pass. Demp was fantastic the 1st half this year, and there is no denying it. So far this year hes appeared in 57 games and allowed a run in 11. Hes had a rough August and Sept but before that he was pitching as good or better than any closer in baseball.

    Some people amaze me. How in the hell are you blaming Demp? How about we blame our offense for having runners on in the 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th and 11th damn inning, and cant get a [expletive] run across. How about you look at our manager, and his infatuation with "proven" veterans by continuing to start Floyd and Kendall. How about you look at our 136 million dollar man, who doesnt know what a quality ab was if it hit him in his face. there are numerous people to blame for this game, and Demp is wayyyyyyyyyyy down that list.

    How about leaving Marquis in too long in 2 consecutive games. When Marquis starts to lose it, he starts getting the ball up, and loses his control. Well his last start it was obvious he was losing it but Lou left him in and it backfired, then last night same thing and it backfired. You take what good you can get from Marquis. If its 5 innings then so be it, cause when he loses it he really loses it. Floyd over Murton? Give me a break Floyd in the 4 hole? Give me a break Not giving Soto a chance? Ignorant Steve Trachsel? Enough said
