  1. I can only imagine the posters loving a move like this from Hendry. Trading Thome for next to nothing when he's going to be a type A free agent. Brilliant move by Williams. =D> Thome in the NL, most likely will not be a Type A. Hell in the NL there is a good chance Thome isnt ranked as a Type B either. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/
  2. Hes a SS man where else do you think he should bat? Come on
  3. I think the WBC can hurt a pitcher, but I don't see how it could cause a catcher to hit poorly. You dont think sitting on the bench for Puerto Rico and not getting hardly any at bats wouldnt have any correlation to Soto starting out as slow as he did? He had a horrible April, and then put up a much better May, and a fantastic June and had an 842 OPS in July(18 at bats) when he got hurt. Seems pretty obvious to me that April was pretty much Soto's spring training getting 46 at bats, and then he got better each month. He's been as bad in August as he was in April. And he had about the same amount of spring training playing time as he did in 2008. Hes actually 100 points higher in OPS in August than he was in April, and he was coming off an injury that he was out for over a month from. I have a hard time believing he had near the same amount of at bats in spring training 08 that he did in this years spring training/WBC.

  5. I - N - I!
  6. Hmm interesting? He was a starter for the Cardinals last year in the Super Bowl, and hes only 27. Now Im hoping for Branch to be released and the Bears to pick him up as well.
  7. That explains a lot. And because of that statement, I don't think he's trolling at all. He really believes the nonsense he's spewing. Exactly what I started thinking as soon as I read that also.
  8. Still like for you to expand on Soto being a prick
  9. 1 thing Cubs and Cards fans can agree on. Well along with the Brewers untuckem thing being ridiculous
  10. 1 run vs Valverde? Yea right not the Cubs
  11. Good at bat Fox, you cant hit a 2 run HR with noone on base
  12. Jose Valverde career ERA vs the Cubs .77. Yea this game is over
  13. Better get 2 more vs Hawkins because we all know we arent scoring off Valverde
  14. The 2 hard hit balls that inning were outs, and the bloop from Lee was a hit. Ugh
  15. Yea his manager acting like a cry baby little bitch is entirely on Milton. People like to talk about Milton needing to grow up hmmmmm looks to me like someone else does.
  16. :banghead: Oooh! Call me an idiot and post obscure stats to show that he's just a slight disappointment instead of a major flop that a lot of people think he is. That'll show me. Obscure? How about 7 for 9 against the Mets this weekend? How about last 7 days hes got a batting average(Ill keep it simple for you) of .545 and slugging over .950. How about since the All Star Break hes hitting (again Ill use batting average for you so its not such an obscure stat) .313 and getting on base 43% of the time. But you are right, he hasnt been having quality at bats and just the obscure stats show you dont know wtf you are talking about, when in reality its all stats that show you dont know wtf you are talking about.
  17. Too bad it didnt hit one of the idiots in the crowd
  18. Nice to see our supposed "aces" really pitch like [expletive] the last 2 games.
