    Illinois starting MLB, Martez Wilson, is out for the year with a neck injury. This football season is starting out horrible.

    More than likely to fill in for Fuld. Before this move, the Cubs werent Taguchi at all. Seriously if you are playing fantasy baseball and you need RotoWorld to tell you that So Taguchi shouldnt be a consideration, then you really need to stop playing fantasy baseball. Or you need to join every league Im in please.

    Cardinal fans are idiots though. Yea they think everyone who plays for Stl will give them the "Stl discount" and in this case I hope DeRosa does. We seen how long it took Lee to get over a wrist injury, and he was younger than DeRo. I want no part of an aging, wrist hurting, DeRosa.

    To anyone who heard Zs tone of voice, he sounded upset about the talks and like he really doesnt want to leave the Cubs, but if they dont want him, he'll accept a trade. This does not need to happen. Who cares about his tone of voice? How about pitching like you have the talent to do. We heard the same whining about not getting rid of Kerry Wood for years. Zambrano has shown he is inconsistent, is not a leader and very self-absorbed. All this cutesy stuff may please some, but I want 20 wins and 30 quality starts on a consistent basis for a guy I'm paying $18M. Did you not read what Jersey posted? If not here it is again, and like Bruce Miles says, "Be careful what you wish for". And this quote from Miles couldnt be any more on point.

    You guys end with an easier schedule while we have a tough finish with Baltimore, @ PIT, @ CHI, and @ ARI all on the schedule over the course of the final couple of months. I'm definitely not taking Cincy for granted. I know they had a demoralizing loss but we can't afford a letdown. We need to be 3-0 before going into Minnesota to start October. Yea I know our schedule gets pretty easy, but the possibility of starting 0-3 really sucks even if we still have a chance of bouncing back from it.

    I don't agree with most of that, but I do agree with the Urlacher comment. Well of course you don't agree with what I said about a healthy Bears team being better than Green Bay. What kind of fan would admit their favorite team is inferior to another? :roll: I think it's pretty close. The Bears defense played great yesterday but give credit to McCarthy for calling one horrible game. Everyone knows the weakness of the Bears defense is their secondary and McCarthy stubbornly tried to get the ground game going for the better part of the first three quarters. Urlacher was a big part in stopping the Packers run game yesterday. He looked pretty good last night. That loss will have some pretty big ramifications. He might be on the wrong side of his career, but he's still a pretty good LB. I'm sure you guys will split with us, we'll split with Minnesota, and you'll split with Minnesota. That's the way this thing is going to take shape. I wish our OC would have followed McCarthys lead.
