  1. Eberflus still has two years left on his contract. It is entirely possible they don't see him as a lame duck at all
  2. I looked at my post and I don't see the words "trey Lance" anywhere in them.
  3. His accuracy is a bigger problem than you realize
  4. For the Bears, 99% sure Eberflus stays. 50/50 on getsy (as a prediction. If it were me, I'd fire him).
  5. Fields is a lateral move for either of those teams. He's statistically indistinguishable from either Picketts or Ridder. It's going to be tough for Fields to find a guaranteed starting job next year. He's probably (barely) one of the 32 best QBs in the league, but he's right at or below the imaginary Dalton Line, where if he's the best you can do, you'd rather just roll the dice with a rookie.
  6. We definitely will. I think it's 50/50 even finds a starting job next year.
  7. That's fine but that wasn't the content of the post I replied to.
  8. I hate this thinking and it keeps popping up. Fields will/should be gone next year because he's a bad QB. He's statistically similar to a lot of other QBs who are losing their jobs this year and no one is blinking an eye. It's perfectly ordinary and normal for him to be losing his job.
  9. I didn't say I was surprised.
  10. It's especially funny to see the shift from :"that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard you're only posting that because it's negative, it's obviously not true" to "well obviously lots of people thought that at the time."
  11. He is 100% wrong about what i think and feel. As the world's foremost expert on what I think and feel, I know for a fact that he is wrong. He may well be right about how everyone else reacts to my posts, but my interest in the subject is pretty much exhausted.
  12. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't be upset if they chose to trade down and explore alternate ways of gettting a QB. I totally sympathize with the idea that grabbing a buttload of picks is more appealing than rolling the dice on qb craps.
  13. That's not what the word means.
  14. It fascinates me that you really think that. Because again, everything is about emotions and not truth.
  15. They can stop posting about me and start posting about the Bears anytime they want. Their choices reveal their priorities.
  16. Because they care more about their emotions than truth, in my experience. Just like you're focusing on me right now as a way of dealing with your emotions.
  17. It is. But I can't say as a consolation, I don't enjoy remembering all the people who yelled at me in game threads last year for starting to see the flaws in Fields' game. What's Mash Mervis up to these days?
  18. I think it's 50/50 we announce no change to the coaching staff tomorrow. If that happens, the fanbase meltdown will be legendary.
  19. Super classy of Fields to make sure the fans chanting his name last week got to see his last td drive as a Bear in person.
  20. This team doesn't deserve to feel good about itself heading into the offseason.
  21. That WR wasn't open. Didn't matter.
  22. That was *brutal* from Jenkins
  23. I think you can make a case for that not being a penalty. He didn't hit him in the head and he might have already been committed when Fields started his slide. But it was borderline at best and every other QB in the league gets those borderline calls at least sometimes.
