He left the board/was kicked out. Not too sure, but there is a long story behind it. That really is too bad, Hoops was one of my favorite posters. I had been wondering what happened to him. No idea what this long story is, but would I be way off if I suspected Meph was involved somehow? Nope, you would not be off at all. Was he actually Meph? Did he have 2 screen names? Or am I missing something? Meph and Hoops had a spat, Hoops ran away. 2 dif people. so now we dont have either?

interesting. i wonder why this isnt done more often? they usually have a side session between starts anyway. Those sessions are typically before the game. but do they have to be? in the case that they're not needed for mopup 4-7th innings, throw the side session in the 8th inning in the pen. i imagine if this was done once a week or so it could ease pen overusage to a degree.

i thought lee was going to make that play anyway. but he still only gets one out imo. getting a W would've been sweet. it was my b-day and i was given tix at the last minute. of course i was in full cub gear. later i ran into one of the cubs top draft picks at a bar. ( i confirmed the identity with my phone and nsbb). overall a pretty good night.

the cards pen has a bunch of guys that cant throw 2 days in a row, it seems. would've been nice to make them use a few of them a little earlier.

probably means you aren't turning your DVR off every night. the program guide only updates with new info when the box is off we do but i didnt know that. it might've been left on all day. thats good to know. -

the guide on directtv says "to be announced" from 7 to midnight tonite on wgn. so i cant even set the dvr to record. this happens alot. still way better than cable. -
not gonna happen... you and me are s.o.l. without going to a bar and watching the game. can you even watch this at a bar? i thought EI was blacked out before 6 on saturdays?
