I'm not an expert on the minors, but it seems from what I've read here, we don't really have the prospect package to compete with a lot of teams. Is that accurate? It really depends on how the prospects are valued. We all know the value of Pie. While he may not be in the upper echelon, he's still a prospect that has major league tools and many scouts project to be an all-star caliber CF. After, Pie the other prospects have serious questions. How good is Dopirak? If Marshall and Guzman are healthy, they both have filthy stuff. Their value would depend on if other teams look past their health issues. Hill also is intriguing to teams. His numbers last year were good in the minors, but he's getting old for prospect status. If Guzman and Marshall and Ryu are all healthy, our system could see a resurgence. This is even more true if Dopirak returns to numbers more like his 2004 season.
