Yeah, I don't see him pushing Lee, Ramirez or Soriano and I don't know if he can beat out a RF either. He would make a great utility guy + power potential off the bench. Jake is ready to go to AAA - he has had problems with breaking pitches before and AAA will be a good test for him. Jake told me that the reason he was at AA was to learn different positions and gain versatility. He said that they told him he'd still catch about once per week, but that he doesn't know from day to day where they'll pencil him into the line-up. I saw him play left and first and he handled both well. My guess is that when they feel he's picked up the different places in the field, he'll be moved to AAA. His bat is ready.
