  1. That's awesome. When I go to Mississippi to see the Braves next week, I'm going to tell Phillip how much I loved it. BTW, someone who is good at editing can you get me a high res pic of the crawl for me to take with me.
  2. I think a nine run lead may even be safe for our pen.
  3. I'm assuming this is sarcasm....
  4. Ok...I wanted to bump this one more time. I now have 3 left for Tuesday 6/19 and 2 left for Wednesday 6/20. If you're interested, pm me. I'm probably going to list them on Ebay on Wednesday.
  5. Hopefully, that means that Jones is on the way out.
  6. Why can't this team play like this at least every other day instead of once a week.
  7. He'll probably slam his agent into a locker as well.
  8. If Marshall and Hill continue to pitch well, the Cubs can easily afford to part with Zambrano and his dumbass antics.
  9. Shocking! This team gave Marshall some run support.
  10. I think we should allow a few trades before the announcing of keepers. That could make things interesting. I like the scoring and roster size that we've been using.
  11. Soriano in the lead-off spot is way down the list of things that need to be changed on this team.
  12. My vote would have been different, but beginning Friday Zambrano became the [expletive] I don't want on the team any longer.
  13. I'd do Zambrano for Saltalamacchia in a heartbeat. I'd prefer to look toward Anaheim or Arizona. If Anaheim would do a Brandon Wood for Zambrano, that might be our best bet.
  14. We'll lose again. I don't project another win intil June 13.
  15. I always thought that was Cindy Sandberg.
  16. I think we'll top out at about 30-35 wins.
  17. PM your address and your prize will be on its way.
  18. So, based on 105 AB this season, you've judged that Murton sucks. 2007 Murton: 276/350/371. That's not great, but it's better than this: 244/390/350 but I bet no one is calling the player with that line horrible. Last season, Murton put up a 297/365/444 line. Not great, but adequate. I still believe with regular playing time, he'd get his line closer to that.
  19. Looks like Zambrano has issues.
  20. This is a completely lame standard to hold Barrett to. Yes, professionalism went out with red leather jackets. Give me a break. I'm not even sure what point you are trying to make here. You don't like Michael Barrett, we get it. The fight was almost entirely Zambrano's fault. It's pretty obvious to everyone. Why does Barrett have to sit there and take a tongue lashing from one of the worst regular starting pitchers in baseball this year? Zambrano was a complete joke today. Imagine the nerve of him to tell another player to "keep their head in the game." What a delusional maniac. Good point. I consider myself a professional. I usually act such at work. But if a colleague walked into my classroom, called me a horrible teacher in front of my students, and insulted my intelligence while I was aware that he had deficiencies of his own, I'd probably point those out at that time. While it might not be the most professional way to handle the situation, I'm also likely not the one to be blamed either. Zambrano acted like an [expletive]. Barrett pointed that out. Maybe at that point Z should have sat his fat ass down and taken it. The initial altercation is all on Z. What happened in the clubhouse later, I don't know.
