    That's what I am hoping for-let's get over half their bullpen in the game tonight, and then they won't have as many available when Redding pitches tomorrow. That was just 37 pitches by Traber in the last inning-he can't last much longer if at all. I'm also hoping for a complete game from Lilly. That would give everyone in our pen except Marmol two days of rest.

    I like both Murton and Marshall, but if trading them would net us Salty, I wouldn't hesitate to make that deal. Salty is an excellent defensive catcher and isn't bad with the bat. I've had the chance to see him play, and he has the skills. Furthermore, word I've heard is that he's an excellent teammate and is great with his pitchers as well.

    If we're not allowed to take on payroll, we won't make any moves of significance. Now, if we can move payroll around, I think we'll add a bat somewhere along the way.

    It's an extremely slow game...but if we can abuse the guys in the Nats pen, it may help us for the remainder of the series.
