    What song is that? I'm thinkin more. . Dunn-Dunn-Dunn, Dunn. . . Dunn-Dunn-Dunn, Dunn. . . . . . DUNNNNNNNN! Where do you suggest playing him? He'd be no worse defensively than our current RF. Nonsense. He's already the worst LF'er in baseball, he sure won't get better in right. The Cubs certainly don't need him. He'd be no worse defensively than Floyd and if Floyd were in LF, he'd be worse than Dunn. We do need him. Having a hitter with a 900+ OPS would greatly improve the lineup. But dadgumit, he strikes out too much...:lol:

    Hell, move Arod to RF. It really doesn't matter where he plays. His bat is that good. I'd still kick the tires heavily on what it would take to get Posada.

    Earlier in the game, Hunter made a nice running catch to rob the Sox of what would have at least been a double. Hawk and DJ made it sound routine.

    Don't get around much, do you ? Unlike us, he wasn't there back when they assimilated the AL, you know. ;) yeah.... I remember when we got the news about General Custer out there in injun country....... we had the day off, but we were still basking in the glow of the White Stockings 16-2 victory over the New York Mutuals the day before. Al Spaulding got the win... raised his record to 22-4 !! Ah, those were the days !!! Fred, could you tell us about the time you discovered fire?

    Now 4-0 for the Twins. This is going to a fun game to watch.

    Twins take an early 2-0 lead on the Sox. If this continues, I won't hear Hawk and DJ all afternoon.

    Trade Pie, Marshall, Holliman, and Cedeno to the Braves for Salty and Renteria. Replace Pie by signing Fukudome out of Japan in the offseason.

    Posada is 35 this season. I'm not sure if the Yankees are willing to offer him a long-term deal or not. I doubt he's available now, but he could be. If he is, he might become my favorite trade target considering his production compared to what we are currently getting from the position. Furthermore, he looks like a Hendry acquisition. The biggest obstacle is the Yankees deciding to sell and whether Posada waives 10-5 rights. He's never been anything but a Yankee. How important is that to him?
